Gated Caves in Colorado
Here is a list of all Colorado caves which have been gated.  Most gated caves are either on private land or hold particular splendor or archeological interest.  Some are gated due to their dangerous nature.  Regardless of the reason, it is unlawful to defeat a gate in order to gain access to the cave.  This is vandalism and trespassing, and we at CavesRAll.com demand that the rights of property owners and administrators be respected.

Vader compiled this map of an area northeast of Glenwood Springs.  It shows Indian Cave, Red Ant Cave, and Bear Cave.  Indian Cave is a large shelter cave.  Bear Cave is a through cave,  emerging on the cliffs high above Grizzly Creek.

Vader made this map after hiking around the natural amphitheater just outside of Glenwood Springs.
